At 22:35 on Friday, 22 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in A5 Westbound between M54 and Preston Island .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Call to RTC involving 1 car left carriageway and in collision with tree. No persons trapped, 2 casualties in care of ambulance service.
