At 13:01 on Saturday, 23 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Landrover Pump were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Tweedale.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Main jet

This incident involved approximately 30m of riverside embankment and 4 large trees which were extinguished by fire service personnel using one main jet.
