At 18:25 on Saturday, 23 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of road traffic collision which involved one saloon vehicle which had come to rest on its side. One casualty released from vehicle by fire service crews. Crews used small tools and impact driver. Casualty in the care of ambulance service.
