At 18:28 on Sunday, 24 April, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving ceiling light pendant in bedroom, crews used 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and dry powder to extinguish the fire.
