At 20:57 on Monday, 9 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be bales of hessian on fire. Fire crews used 1 extended hose reel jet to extinguish fire.
