At 16:28 on Tuesday, 10 May, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire in hollow of tree. Crews used 1 Hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
