At 18:20 on Thursday, 2 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wem.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving BBQ and Gas cylinder. Crews extinguished using one hose reel jet.
