At 09:13 on Friday, 3 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Knapsacks

This incident involved a smouldering log.
