At 14:33 on Thursday, 16 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Incident involved one saloon vehicle with over heated front brakes. Driver utilised dry powder extinguisher prior to arrival of fire service. Fire crews used one hose reel jet and one thermal image camera.
