At 11:23 on Friday, 24 June, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be disposable BBQ alight in middle of field. Fire crews used buckets of water to extinguish fire.
