At 16:55 on Monday, 4 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as RTC HGV Persons Trapped in Newport.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

This incident involved 4 vehicles no persons trapped.
