At 14:49 on Thursday, 21 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

This incident involved a unattended bonfire. Crews extinguished the fire using 1 hose reel jet.
