At 19:05 on Saturday, 23 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a chip pan fire which was extinguished by the occupier prior to the arrival of fire service personnel. Thermal imaging camera and small gear were used to complete an inspection of the property
