At 12:57 on Wednesday, 3 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as AFA in Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of automatic fire alarm activating. On arrival of crews one small fire which was out of arrival was found, involving wall clock placed onto electric hob, crews inspected and good will advice given.
