At 16:10 on Thursday, 4 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ludlow.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be a compost heap in rear garden of property. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet, drag rakes and thermal image camera. Advice has been given to occupier
