At 16:03 on Tuesday, 9 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Onibury, Craven Arms.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Cleobury Mortimer and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Rakes, shovels, mathooks
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms
• Small gear

Approximately 10 acres of stubble and quantity of hay bales on fire
