At 12:49 on Wednesday, 10 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Knighton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Clun.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Shovels/Forks/Brooms

Out of control bonfire spreading to grass and fences.
