At 13:29 on Thursday, 11 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approximately 200 square meters of grass and undergrowth alight, crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets.
