At 12:43 on Thursday, 11 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

4 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Ludlow, Much Wenlock, Newport and Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Fire involving approx. 5 Hectares of double hedgerow and hay bales alight.
