At 14:32 on Friday, 12 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Wellington.

Incident involved 80 by 20 metres of trees and bushes. Fire crews used 2 extended hose reel jets
