At 15:04 on Friday, 12 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

6 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Baschurch, Ellesmere, Minsterley, Much Wenlock, Telford and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving 10 hectares of stubble and surrounding hedgerow and treeline
