Fuel Leak/Spillage Large

At 11:20 on Saturday, 13 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Large in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Tweedale. Operations and Hazmat officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Environment agency equipment

This involves oil tank which is holding 2500 litres , small crack halfway up, crews have stemmed the leak using environmental agency equipment
