At 18:02 on Tuesday, 16 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

This incident involved a 28 year old male horse that was cast in the stable. Fire service personnel assisted it to it's feet using lines and ties.
