At 13:55 on Wednesday, 17 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Smoke in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm caused by smoke in the area.
