At 15:59 on Thursday, 18 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Gobowen Bypass.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

This incident involved one private caravan which was 80% destroyed by fire.
