At 15:18 on Friday, 19 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Reports of fire in the open which involved a horse manure muck heap and straw measuring 10 square metres. Fire crews used 2 hose reel jet and drag racks. Advice was given to owner of field.
