At 16:15 on Friday, 19 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Reports of fire in the open involving approximately 10 metres of hedgerow. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet to extinguish fire.
