At 15:32 on Saturday, 20 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Reports of smoke in the area, after investigations from crews this was found to be a controlled burn with a responsible person in attendance. Advice was also given.
