At 23:39 on Saturday, 20 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 small saloon vehicle against tree heavily damaged. Casualty left in care of Ambulance
