At 18:28 on Sunday, 21 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wem.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Prees.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be a small fire in an incinerator. Fire crews used buckets of water to extinguish fire. Advice given to occupier.
