At 19:10 on Sunday, 21 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Telford.

Reports of fire in the open at rear of St Georges Social Club which involved 10 by 5 metres of gorse and undergrowth. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet and 1 thermal image camera
