At 23:11 on Wednesday, 24 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Brimstree Drive, Shifnal .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central.

Report of smell of burning in lounge of dwelling. Thermal image camera and gas monitor were used by fire crews to check for burning or hot spots but nothing found. Advice given to occupier.
