At 02:26 on Wednesday, 31 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wem.

Reports of fire in the open which proved to be a fire involving the contents of a recycling bin and one fence panel. Fire was out on arrival of fire crews inspection only.
