At 17:52 on Thursday, 1 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Sub Station in Ley Brook, Oakengates.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Report of fire at electricity sub station. On arrival crews found no fire ongoing but smoke damage to outside of sub station. Western Power were called to assist with incident.
