At 12:09 on Friday, 2 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Longden, Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance including the Pinzgauer was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Fire involving out of control bonfire which had spread to grassland. Knapsack sprayer, hose reel jet and drag rakes used to extinguish fire. Advice given to caller
