At 15:48 on Thursday, 8 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Ellesmere.

3 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Ellesmere, Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved residual straw on the manifold of a tractor alight.
