At 08:48 on Friday, 23 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency.

This incident involved one light goods vehicle. Highways were requested to attend in order to clear the debris.
