At 09:10 on Friday, 30 September, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

This incident involved the controlled burn of approximately 8 square metres of manure which was extinguished by fire service personnel using 1 hose reel jet due to the close proximity to bushes and trees.
