At 19:06 on Friday, 7 October, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks
• Short extension ladder
• Small gear

Small fire involving 1 tyre out on arrival. Knapsacks used to damp down area and thorough check of building and neighbouring buildings.
