At 00:40 on Saturday, 8 October, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

1 vehicle involved in RTC. No persons trapped. Car has been made safe by fire service personnel
