At 15:27 on Friday, 14 October, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton.

4 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident involved a fire under a tractor which has then spread to the field.
