At 17:22 on Thursday, 27 October, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in The Wrekin, Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Call to report of fire at the top of the hill which was found to be a false alarm caused by low level mist.
