At 09:07 on Sunday, 30 October, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport and Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire caused by faulty electric blanket, fire was out on arrival of crews.
