At 16:51 on Saturday, 12 November, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Urban Gardens, Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Call to fire in the open which was found to be a controlled burn on open land. Hose reel jet used by fire crew to dampen surrounding area.
