At 19:36 on Friday, 2 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wem.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 9/10.5m ladder
• Chimney rods
• Hosereel jet

Fire involving chimney flue of terraced property.
