At 14:57 on Wednesday, 7 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Small gear

This incident involved a faulty oil burner, crews isolated boiler, small tools, one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus were in use.
