At 21:37 on Tuesday, 13 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Late Fire Call in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Crews attended a domestic property following reports of an earlier chip pan fire which was out on arrival. Crews isolated the cooker hood and advice was given to the occupants.
