At 22:50 on Wednesday, 28 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of house fire which proved to be a false alarm. Alarm was activated by smoke from cooking which neighbour could see. No fire service action taken. Advice given to occupier
