At 08:01 on Friday, 30 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Leegomery, Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Small amount of smoke found to be caused by an overheating motor in a refridgerator fan.
