At 23:38 on Sunday, 1 January, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Montgomery.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bishops Castle.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One 4x4 vehicle destroyed by fire on open ground.
